Philosophy of Cosmic Consequences

The enlightened life requires the management of life consequences and such management of consequences depends on the acquisition of life resources. The imbalance of these resources creates karma, the necessity for action to balance life resources.

In Cosmic Consequences the life consequences are modeled from ten modern physics principles and the life resources are cards with number values that allow you to avoid cosmic consequences by jumping from one place in the cosmos to another place in the cosmos.

In the very easy version of the game you play without life resources or cards and your success at avoiding consequences depends totally on chance or the roll of a die. In the easy version of the game you can acquire life resources, but you create no karma. In other words you do not have to balance the value of the cards in your hand to complete your journey. In this version you are treated as an innocent and are not held responsible for your actions. In the challenging version of the game you are held responsible for your actions and may complete your journey by balancing your life resources in an intentional manner. That is by accumulating five cards with a balanced value or zero sum. You may also complete your journey through the cosmos by accumulating no karma (maintaining a zero sum of cards) while avoiding the cosmic consequences. In the very challenging version of Cosmic Consequences you must do both. In the first case, balancing your life resources in an intentional manner, you become an Avatar and return to life with the ability to avoid all consequences of living, but you can still create new karma. In the second case, completing your journey through life or the cosmos without karma, you become a Bodhisattva with special powers and resources, but remain human and are still subject to life consequences.

Each player begins in the same game realm of your choosing, but if a player avoids the cosmic consequences and completes their journey or balances their karma they may at times choose to reincarnate into a higher realm; where the play is more challenging but the rewards or greater. By default the play starts in the easy game or Realm of Innocence.

The ultimate achievement of game play is to accumulate a billion OMs or points before the universe dies.

Live Board Version of HCC

·         When you play the live board version of HCC you must both complete a journey around the board and accumulate exactly five cards in your hand with a zero sum. You may achieve these goals in any order.

·         If you complete a journey around the board, you may  become a Bodhisattva and may choose an available special power. You remain a Bodhisattva until you lose your power or win the game by accumulating five cards with a zero sum. You cannot win the game if you are not a Bodhisattva.

·         If you accumulate exactly five cards in your hand with a zero sum, then you become an Avatar. You must shuffle all your cards back into the deck and return to the Big Bang. The good news is that now when you journey around the board you are not affected by the cosmic consequences. But, you still may jump and are subject to the draw and discard rules.

·         If you complete your journey with a zero sum of cards while you are an Avatar and become a Bodhisattva, you win the game. But, you must avoid accumulating five cards with a zero sum while you are an Avatar or you become human again and you must shuffle all your cards back into the deck and return to the Big Bang.

bulletIf you perform the miracle of completing your journey and accumulating five cards that sum to zero at exactly the same time you automatically win. This means you must discard or draw in the First-Three-Minutes to achieve a zero sum with exactly five cards.

Computer Version of HCC

·         When you play the computer version of HCC, each player may complete a journey around the board or accumulate exactly five cards in their hand with a zero sum. A player may achieve these goals in any order to accumulate as many points as possible.

·         If a player completes a journey around the board and chooses to reincarnate, they are awarded special powers and becomes a Bodhisattva. To become a Bodhisattva, a player must complete a journey on level six and another before level three. A player remains a Bodhisattva until they lose their powers or accumulate five cards with a zero sum.

·         If a player accumulates exactly five cards in their hand with a zero sum or completes their journey with a zero sum then if they choose not to reincarnate they may become an Avatar.

·         While a player is an Avatar they must avoid accumulating five cards with a zero sum or they become human again and return to the Big Bang.

There are mysteries not revealed here in script that may only be discovered playing the game.
